Wereldberoemde meesters. De meest omvangrijke en belangrijke collecties van James Ensor en Rik Wouters. Het Koninklijk Museum voor Schone Kunsten Antwerpen is zoveel meer dan een kunstcollectie met internationale uitstraling.\u00a0Ze staan niet alleen in voor het behoud, beheer en uitbouw van de collectie. Als enige Vlaamse museum met een wetenschappelijk statuut, voeren ze ook wetenschappelijk onderzoek naar de werken, gebruikte technieken, kleur en beeldtaal\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Daarbij stellen ze zekerheden in vraag. Hun nieuw verworven interpretaties delen ze met het publiek.
