Project be•at

Be•at manages venues in Antwerp, Brussels, Ghent and Hasselt, offering an abundance of space for concerts, theater performances, musicals and corporate events of all sizes.

The Sportpaleis, the largest and most popular events hall in Belgium and a well known name far beyond the country’s borders, opened its doors in 1933 and is the crown jewel of their group of halls.

Since it was taken over by be•at in 1997, this hall has experienced a new life and has become the ‘place to be’ for large-scale events. The equally successful Lotto Arena, opened in 2007, is no less than its older neighbor.

In January 2012, be•at expanded the operation of the Trixxo Arena and the Trixxo Theater in Hasselt, where significant investments were made to firmly anchor these halls in the events landscape.

On October 1, 2013, be•at took over the operation of Vorst Nationaal, the legendary Brussels rock temple. On January 6, 2014, Stadsschouwburg Antwerp and Capitole Ghent were also added to the portfolio.

This growth caught the attention of Live Nation Entertainment, the world’s largest entertainment company. In April 2019, be•at became part of Venue Nation, making them part of a global network.

An organization of such size uses a lot of banner material of all kinds. We were asked to do a project for them to make a number of end-of-year gifts for their own staff. What an amazing moment it was selecting the canvases in that gigantic hall of an empty Sportpaleis! Nice to see it in a different way.
