Project de Helling

De Helling is a medium-sized independent (core) stage in Utrecht with a maximum capacity of 490 visitors. The capacity and programming make De Helling an important link in the national and Utrecht chain of venues. A privatization process was initiated between 2014 and 2019, with which De Helling gradually became separated from Tivoli (Vredenburg) and grew into a unique beacon within the cultural landscape.

 

De Helling is a proud resident of Utrecht. Its immediate surroundings, a lively neighborhood on the edge of the center of Utrecht, the raw look of the building, the 24-hour permit, the station next door, the high-quality offering, the professional staff and last but not least the excellent sound, together ensure that visiting a concert or club night in De Helling feels like coming home for many enthusiasts. For these visitors, pop culture is important for their identity, happiness and social environment and De Helling offers a safe hub of like-minded people.

 

De Helling attaches great importance to sustainability. This year they were celebrating their 20th anniversary, and De Helling wanted to pay special attention to that. Under the guise of “don’t talk, just clean up”, they commissioned us to turn various banners into bicycle bag shoppers. See the photos for the beautiful result!
